WHAT IS A BEARD WASH ? IS IT NECESSARY ? HOW OFTEN SHOULD I CLEAN MY BEARD ?

These are some of the many questions we have been asked about the beard wash.

1) What is the Beard Wash?

The beard wash is a shampoo mixed with natural oils which aims to deeply clean your beard and the skin underneath. Regular shampoo are made for the hair and the scalp under it, they would be too aggressive for the beard. A beard wash has been specially formulated to clean and refresh your beard.

2) Is it necessary ?

The short answer is: YES

You accumulate dirt in your beard through the days (food, pollution, sweat, dust, etc.) and also accumulate residue of oil from your daily routine. The beard wash will help you soften your beard and avoid pimple or irritation.

3) How often Should you clean your beard ?

You MUST clean your beard only once a week, maybe twice it depends on your lifestyle, your type of skin (if your skin is oily) and also how thick is your beard. A daily washing would completely dry your beard and damage the follicle.

The beard wash is essentially made for cleaning your beard so it MUST be followed buy a beard oil, or conditioner for the hydration.
